Zojirushi and Tiger replacement inner pots
Last checked 2026-10-03.
Per the makers' manuals and parts-store listings, each maker sells its own replacement pot by part number: Zojirushi's B481-6B for the NS-LGC05 was in stock at Zojirushi's store when read; Tiger's JBS1186 for the JBS-A55U was sold out at Tiger's parts store. Stock changes; check the store before relying on either. Neither was sold as a genuine part on Amazon. Both manuals say to use only the pot made for that model; a pan that looks the same is not a stated fit.
This page has no retailer links yet; they are added at launch. No prices are shown; check the retailer. How this site is funded.

Kinds of claim on this page: capacities, cups, voltages and pot care are product evidence from each maker's manual and product page; a replacement pot's fit is a compatibility statement, the maker's own part list; pot materials are named as the makers name them, a manufacturer claim, not a finding about safety; anything no source states, such as cooked yield, is unknown. No price is shown.
What the manuals say about the pots
- Zojirushi NS-LGC05: the manual: the nonstick coating may wear, discolor or peel with use; replace the pan by purchasing a new one; use only the supplied inner cooking pan (Zojirushi NS-LGC05 instruction manual).
- Tiger JBS-A55U: the manual: the ceramic coating may wear and peel with extended use; a new inner pot is bought from Tiger Corporation U.S.A.; use only the inner pot made for this model (Tiger JBS-A55U instruction manual (English), Tiger Corporation U.S.A. support).
Neither manual gives a replacement interval, and none is suggested here.

Left out, and why
- Toshiba TRCS02 (B091TW6ND5): no manual found on Toshiba's own site, only third-party copies, so its capacity table was not read
- Third-party pans described as compatible with the NS-LGC05 (for example B0H8KXCC8F): not a Zojirushi part; a pan that looks the same is not a stated fit
- Zojirushi B362-6B pan on Amazon (B00L6H3SD2): a genuine part for a different, 5.5-cup model, and sold by a third-party seller
We tested nothing: no taste, texture, speed or energy measurements, and nothing here ranks the rice. Capacities are raw rice in each maker's rice cup, not cooked rice and not US cups. Nothing here judges any coating's safety.
