Countertop oven clearance and counter fit

A countertop oven needs its own footprint plus the clearance its manual asks for: the Breville BOV900 4 in on each side and 6 in above; the Cuisinart TOA-70 2 to 4 in from the wall and any object, and no wall cabinet above; the Ninja SP101 "adequate space" with no distance given. The Ninja flips up to store against the backsplash, but only once cool, and it cooks flipped down.

The checklist
- Width: the oven plus the side clearance on both sides.
- Depth: the oven plus any space behind it the manual asks for (the Cuisinart's 2 to 4 in from the wall; the Breville's manual states none behind).
- Above: the Cuisinart may not run under a wall cabinet or in an appliance garage; the Breville needs 6 in above; the Ninja's manual gives no figure.
- Flip-up storage: storing a flip-up oven upright is not a way to run it in a smaller spot: it cooks in the flipped-down position, and its stored size is not stated.
- Power: 1800 W on a 120 V outlet per the Ninja manual (its listing says 1750 W); the Ninja manual says never to use an outlet below the counter.

Where the manual gives a range (the Cuisinart's 2 to 4 in), a space between the two totals is unknown. "The unit fits; clearance not stated" means only the closed oven fits: its manual gives no distance to add. Door swing is not stated in any source read.
