Breville Paradice 9 vs Cuisinart 14-cup for dicing
Last checked 2026-10-03.
If you want to dice, the Breville Paradice 9 includes a 12 mm (0.5 in) dicing kit; the Cuisinart 14-cup DFP-14BCNY slices and shreds but has no dicing kit in the box and none documented for it. Cuisinart's FP-DCP1 dicing kit is made for its FP/SFP-13 series, not this 14-cup model. The Cuisinart is the bigger bowl, 14 cups against 9, but its own manual's capacity chart recommends 3 cups of chopped or puréed fruit and vegetables at a time.

What the table does not settle
How evenly either one dices or chops, and how loud or fast it is, are not in any source read here. Breville's wording about precise cubes is its own claim.
Kinds of claim on this page: what is in the box, bowl sizes and working capacities are product evidence from each maker's page, manual or listing (read 2026-10-03); which kit fits which model is a compatibility statement, only as the kit's own manual gives it; performance wording such as "precise, even cubes" is a manufacturer claim and is attributed where it appears; anything no source states is unknown.
Left out, and why
- Breville BFP820: Breville's own page says it is discontinued
- Cuisinart FP-130 13-cup: whether it counts as an FP-13 series base for the FP-DCP1 kit is not stated in the sources read (the kit's manual names the FP/SFP-13 series only); one FP-130 listing (B09HDPPXNV) was sold by Amazon.com on 2026-10-03
- Ninja blender-processor systems: blender systems, outside this food-processor comparison
We tested nothing: no dicing, chopping, noise or speed measurements. Nothing here says one machine dices better or lasts longer. A bowl's nominal size is not how much it chops or kneads at once; use the manual's own capacity chart where one exists.
Which kit fits which model: dicing kit compatibility. What a setup that dices needs: what to buy to dice.
